Warmest greetings, While commemorating Mongolia’s 30 year anniversary since its transition into democracy and free market economy, which coincides wonderfully with EPCRC’s 10-year anniversary, it is my pleasure to present you the “Provincial Competitiveness Report 2019”.In the past 30 years, Mongolia achieved remarkable development milestones – as evident from data and statistics – while navigating through development opportunities and difficult challenges. To name some of the accomplishments, the average life expectancy of Mongolians was extended by 7 years (in 1992 – 63, while in 2018 – 70), the number of population rose by one million, GDP (At constant prices) of the country increased by 3.5 times (from 5.2 billion MNT in 1990 to 18.1 billion in 2018, which equals 13 billion MNT and 32 billion MNT respectively at current prices)
